I am modelling concrete pile foundation. But bending moment is totally different. In plaxis 2d bending moment was 4 KN but in plaxis 3d bending moment was 0,6 KN. It was x direction and in plaxis 3d i use the bendung moment m11. Can anyone help me to make the same result?
First thing to check would be to see if your 2D volume pile is a plane strain model or an axis-symmetric model. The 3D model should follow the same type of analysis as the 2D model. Secondly, check if both the meshes are similar or identical. Then also check if you have input the same material parameters in both models. Also you may be using different bending moments extraction methods in both the 2D and 3D that is either using the dummy beam technique or using the structural forces in volumes tool. Make you use the same method in both 2D and 3D. You may also want to check our 2D and 3D verification cases from the following links to see how to compare results: Bearing capacity of strip footingBearing capacity of a circular footing
Im modelling concrete pile with dummy plate and interfaces in 3D. like the picture
And i planning to modelling the pile with embeeded beam row in plaxis 2D. The result was different. Can you help me?
Without the models it will be difficult to assess the reason for the behaviour that you observed. To assist you further please submit a service request. Then, one of our support engineers can help you in detail: https://apps.bentley.com/srmanager/ProductSupport
