i am analysing the soil for moving load in plaxis 3d. each time after analysis load moves on the soil, but the movement is not that smooth and load seems like punching the soil.even on changing the soil properties this problem continues.
also how to assign a path to the moving line load.i am able to assign the movement function but not getting any option for movement path.

Without the project it is difficult to say what is wrong with your model. Probably the point load is directly applied to the soil which causes the punching behaviour that your observed.
