Hi, I am a civil engineering student and am doing a simple analysis of a reclamation plan on Plaxis-2D. I wanted to know the deformation of the plan and tried to do so by setting the boundaries (highlighted in red) as "free line displacement". However, when I activated the line displacement and started the calculation. Plaxis failed to calculate the stages that activated the displacement. This leads me to the following questions, could anyone help?
1. Is setting the boundary as free displacement the right way to define the boundary condition to study the actual deformation of the whole model?
2. If 1 is correct, what did I do wrong in this model? Thanks!
