Hi - I have noticed that in plx additional options have been introduced when importing dxf into plx. Unfortunately the adapted procedure works incorrectly, resulting in a situation where incomplete geometry is imported into plaxis. I can provide a dxf to make it more reliable
Hi Grzegorz, Importing the dxf file to PLAXIS 2D gives a warning that some of the geometric objects in the source data were not on the xy-plane and, thus, were not imported. Checking the import log gave similar information (see below).
However, I was able to import the dxf file in PLAXIS 3D, although, as you can see from the selection, the points are not on the same X-coordinate. This hints that, indeed, the lines are not lying on the same plane.
I didn't get the chance to open your file in a CAD package, but you may want to revisit your drawing and search/correct any geometric inconsistencies.
