We have a commercial license, but for some reason some recent saved models in PLAXIS 2D open in Academic license mode this morning, and the model does not load at all, it is a blank canvas with the Academic watermark. For some other saved models it is ok and this does not occur. It was fine yesterday.
Is there a quick fix?

In the older versions, when you see the Academic watermark (not present any more since PLAXIS CONNECT Edition V22 Update 2), it indicates a possible corrupted project. Usually, PLAXIS knows the information from the project folder concerning the features used per project to determine the correct license. For a corrupted project or project with missing files, the license defaults to Academic. In our latest versions, an empty project is shown without any watermarks anymore.
Regardless, my first guess would be that something went wrong with the project, possibly during copy & pasting. Another possibility is that you are trying to read the project from a cloud drive which does not have all the information ready to go, thus causing problems when PLAXIS tries to access important files.
By default, a PLAXIS project has a project file (*.P2DX or *.P3D) and a project folder (*.P2DXDAT or *.P3DAT). Both are important for loading all the necessary information. If files are missing from the project folder, then PLAXIS Input and Output may not be able to load them correctly.
