Hi, I'm working on Piled Raft behaviour under earthquake loads.I modelled by using embedded beams (5x5 line-up). I am constantly getting "Severe Divergence" error in the earthquake load section which is dynamic calculation. I think this topic has been opened before, I tried the recommended checks for meshing part that told here but nothing has changed. Also on a Output part there is some absurd displacements which 30m displacement at under the irrelevant part of the raft. This severe divergence cancellation occurs at between 0,3-0,8 seconds of the earthquake. In earthquake a-t graph nothing occurs in there interval as an Acceleration wise.I hope that somebody has answers for my question. Thanks already..
Hello Ulas,
At a glance, you may try to change solver. If it does not help, then check the mesh quality. If it is too low (often recommend not < 0.05 or 0.1), you may check the geometry or even simplify the geometry to avoid it. Soil parameters should also be checked since bad input parameters could cause the error.
As the issue is project-related, please submit a request to us if these tries above do not help.

Thanks for your recommendations. I refined it around the Piled Raft and critical areas then it solved. It generates logical settlements and forces compared to the preliminary calculations.
