when I use plaxis 3D to drew two vertical plates, , how can I make sure the plates is connected ?
Hello shen-Hsien,There are some ways to check. For me, In addition to visualization of geometry, checking outputs is a good approach, e.g. deformed mesh, displacement and forces. If the mesh is fine enough, displacement plot (also may check force plots but beware of input loads) should be smooth at the edge .
