Hi,
I'm trying to compile an internally used python script, which is pretty complex (6000 lines), using pyinstaller - with the idea that this would be more widely adopted if people can just run an EXE file rather than installing python modules etc.
After compiling the script, and trialling building a model - I find that it works as expected for Plaxis V21. However it doesn't seem to work for Plaxis V22, we get the following error:
I appreciate this is a very niche question - however I'm not sure a way around this, and would appreciate any guidance based on the plaxis error.
Many thanks,
Matthew
Hello Matthew,
Without the code itself, I can only do wild guessing.
The file you create is likely encoded, and for some reason, it works in one case and not in the other. I cannot really tell without testing the code. Can you try to check if you can change the encoding to the original file and try again?
You can always try searching online as this is a rather generic Python error: duckduckgo.com/
The only way I can investigate this is if you open a Case for us: https://bentleysystems.service-now.com/csp
