How to create a soil-polygon model in plaxis 3D ? (In plaxis 2D there is an option in structure for creating soil polygon, but in plaxis3D there is no such option.)

In 3D one needs a soil volume, not a soil polygon. Volumes cannot be drawn directly in PLAXIS 3D because it would be quite difficult to draw a 3D volume in a 2D drawing plane. Therefore volumes are made through for instance extrusion of polygons and/or intersection with other planes. The final volume can then be assigned a material to.Hence, they're not explicitly called Soil volumes, just volumes.
