Accelaration values with depth?

Question

When conducting dynamic analysis, how can we obtain the acceleration values with depth? 
 Do we need to select for instance, nodes after each and every 0.5m or 1 m intervals along the total soil column, then get the maximum absolute value from each and every node via excel?

 If you are interested in obtaining acceleration values with depth, then yes, you would select curve points, specifically nodes, and retrieve the information either via the Curves manager or via the command line. Data can be copied to any spreadsheet for any further post-processing, of course. 
 The intervals to select curve points depends on what you are interested in doing with this data. Naturally, the more curve points you select, the more data you will have, the larger the project will be (especially if you are using PLAXIS 3D), so be aware of this. 
 Another option is to run the Dynamic analysis and store all steps and then select post-calc curve points that you need. Check the following article for more information on Selecting points for curves .
