Is there a way in PLAIXS 2D that can obtain the mode shape of the structure?
It is not clear what you mean by mode shape. Can you explain a bit more what you want to obtain?

Probably the best way is to do a free vibration analysis (we have an example on how to do that in the Tutorial manual) and then check the movement resulting from the free vibration as this would be the first mode.
