While using PM4 models the effective stress calculation should be based on vu undrained or by using biot effective stress calculations as Pore pressure measurements and liquefaction criteria are the major concern?

Hello Manisha, These options are used to calculate bulk stiffness of water and then pore water pressure. So, both options can be used. Since PWP is an output, it should be checked with its measurement (if any) to ensure reasonable results.
