Water Loads in PLAXIS 3D

Question

Hi I am modelling jack-up leg extraction in PLAXIS 3D. I have modelled a quarter of the model since it is symmetric. The groundwater boundary within PLAXIS is set as per the snapshot showed below. When modelling the spud can of the leg as a rigid body and applying a prescribed displacement to it, the output window shows water load that is being applied on the spudcan. Given that I have set the groundwater boundary conditions as closed along the Xmin and Ymin, is such behavior expected? If not, is there a way for me to crrect it?

Hello Alvin, 
 If the calculation type is not related to groundwater calculation, e.g. groundwater flow or consolidation. That boundary condition does not affect and you can try it for a simple case. Based on the screenshot, the water load is shown there, it seems there is a tiny gap or overlap at the boundary, you may check it.
