Excess Pore Pressure despite Consolidation analysis

Question

Hi, 
 despite running a consolidation analysis using steady state ground flow calculation type the excess pore pressure won't dissipate. The ground stratifacation is as follows: Backfill followed by upper clay layer, sand in the middle and a clay layer at the bottom. Any ideas on how to overcome this problem.

 It would be best if you investigated what is happening. Probably the wall has an effect, and the soil does not have enough time to dissipate all the excess pore pressure vs. building up excess pore pressure due to loading conditions (self-weight).
