Dear Sir
How to put internal pressure inside a pipe. If we are going with that tunnel one then two circular vertical surfaces are created at the two ends of pipes which looks like pipe is closed. So how to remove those to circular vertical surfaces ?
How we ensure that internal pressure is from inside to outside because if we put change the sign of the load then also the direction of load is not changing means the direction of surface load arrow is same only ?
Hello Beeru,
Have you tried with Tunnel designer? You can define load there. You even decouple the tunnel using “decouple from generator” to fully mange it.
The second point is not clear for me. Perhaps, it is good to show screenshots to make it clearer.
Thanks Hung
My first problem is resolved.
Actually, i am facing errors in the calculation phases when i am modelling the pipe and internal pressure by using tunnel designer command that's why i am doing by using add poly curve command i have created one pipe and then i have created surface load on the surface of the pipe and i am attaching the screenshot of this works. Kindly check weather the internal pressure is same as that of all round internal fluid pressure because the internal pressure is showing only in X and Y direction in the screenshot.
When you just click on the calculation result for visualization, it always shows you the load applied there, see the screenshot below:
Dear Hung,
How you have created this means by using "tunnel designer" or by using "create Poly curve" ?
In the above screenshot is my internal pressure is inside to outside? I am unable to understand because the figure is so complex that's why i can't visualise it clearly. In case if i consider your screenshot then i can visualise it clearly so can you please tell me whether my internal pressure is correct or not or else can you please tell the steps that how can i get the screenshot like yours. Here i have used "Create Poly curve" tool for pipe modelling.
You may use "Scale factor" under View menu to scale down it. It may help to see it more clearly. In case, it is still difficult to see it clearly, a simple way is to define it one by one and inspect it right after one load has been created and run.
Thank You Hung.Problem is solved.
