Hello, I am using plaxis 3D tunnel and I have a problem with " step- displacement " chart, that I can not find out each steps belongs to which part of excavation. is there any where that explain the steps??
Dear Mehdi Dashti,
You are referring to one of our legacy versions, Plaxis 3D Tunnel, which we no longer support.
For your information, the available steps can be viewed in the Batch list showing the overview of all phases.
In our latest version, PLAXIS 3D CONNECT Edition V20, this can be seen in the Phases window, which provides an overview of all General, Deformation and Numerical control parameters settings.

Dear Stefanos Papavasileiou,
Thanks for your answer, I can see steps in the Batch list showing the overview of all phases.
But I need some more information about steps in order to use them to explain displacements per steps and I need detail of steps to know that how excavation parts in my model cause subsidence. If i have your E-mail address, I'll send you one of my charts. Also thank you for your advise about the latest version of PLAXIS 3D , Unfortunately I can not afford it. I look forward to getting an answer from you.
Sincerely yours,
Mehdi Dashti
Dear Mehdi
Each calculation phase can consist of two or more steps. In the Calculation program, where you can see the phases, there should be column First and last. This is the range of steps in the phase. From this, you should be able to get the info you need. Please note that we no longer support PLAXIS 3D Tunnel, as our last release of that specific software was done in 2004, with a small update in 2008.We made a lot of improvements in our latest version: you can just point your mouse over a curve point, and then it will give the relevant info, like step number and phase name.
