I am currently looking at automating some very straightforward problems in PLAXIS such that I can make judgements on the effectiveness of a solution at a very early stage (before detailed design).
Has anybody had much success in generating scripts from defined input variables, sensitivity checking etc and extracting the results? I think I would like to get an idea of the limitations before I spend too much time on this (appreciating the user must always interrogate the model and that the automation is not a design, rather it is an acceleration to a design process).

Hi Scot,
Did you have a look at the Sensitivity analysis? This looks to be exactly the tool you need: vary some soil material parameters to see the sensitivity for certain output.
