In order to use a User Defined Soil model in PLAXIS 3D (and PLAXIS 2D), you will need the Geotechnical SELECT Entitlements. This is an additional entitlement on top of the PLAXIS entitlements.

If you are using an older version, you would need the PLAXIS VIP module in order to use it.

am using the plaxis 3D v 2013 which is an older version in addition to this i just want to use the barcelona basic model as a UDSM.

so, could you share me the code/DLL file for the BBM?

I am afraid that the Barcelona Basic Model is not available for PLAXIs 3D 2013. Next to that, it would also require a PLAXIS-VIP subscription/licence for that version, which is not available any more. 

The only way would be to move to the PLAXIS 3D CONNECT Edition V20 to allow the Geotechnical Select Entitlements (this is formerly known as PLAXIS VIP).
To do so, you would need to create a Service Request so it can be properly processed. Note that we only supply this model to Bentley SELECT users under the conditions stated here: https://communities.bentley.com/products/geotechnical1/w/wiki/46109/udsm---barcelona-basic-model (SELECT users, academic experimental DLL)
You can only use the DLL when you have the Geotechnical SELECT Entitlements (GSE). If you can use the PLAXIS 3D CONNECT Edition V20 version, your Bentley account can also be used to submit a service request.

Can you tell me what kind of phenomenon you would like to model with the Barcelona Basic model? Perhaps we can offer an alternative.

I just want to analyze numericaly the behaviour of unsaturated soils when subjected to dynamic load/machine foundation vibration.

can you advise me which soil constitutive model is suitable other than the barcelona basic model?
