Hi all
We are trying to model foundation piles as a frame element with discrete points spring ( P-y , T-Z & Q-z ) spaced at 1.00 m segmentation of the depth, so the question now what is the most exact method can we extract piles points springs verses depth from plaxis 3d analysis.
Thanks
Dear Amir,
Based on the information shared, you can simply extract the results for each point at various depths of the structural element and create the load-displacement curve (e.g. P-y curves) for the case of a foundation pile. This will be based on the applied load in each of the cases you have.
This may require some post-processing if you are interested in using these in a structural software.

Hi Stefanos
Actually once I do that the results are not converged with the structural analysis software in terms of axial force distribuations for the fraem element copmared to embedded beam element in plaxis , I think we are doing something wrong in anaysis data extractions
what we are doing is : we are dividing the load transferred for each meter ( segment ) by the occurred displacement of that segment only.
is that correct ?. please advise and thanks for help and collaboration.
It will be helpful for us to check the project and comment on that.
