Hi . Hopefully an easy question, but i cant find the answer anywhere myself.
I am creating a model using python.
I want to amend the water condition for some of the soil layers in the borehole to Hydrostatic or Interpolate, but i cant quite get the right line of code for this command.
Thus what are the lines of code i need to change the condition as well as set the p_top and p_bottom?
Thanks in advance
Dear Natalie,
I have already replied to your colleague via the service request submitted about this topic.
In principle, you can always try first in the graphic user interface and then see the PLAXIS command generated in the command line. Then, it is only a matter of identifying the Python command structure.
This is also explained here:communities.bentley.com/.../identify-python-commands-from-plaxis-command-line
So, by changing it manually the command generated is:_set Soillayer_2.PorePressure.BoreholeValues[0].ptop -10
The Python version is the following:g_i.Soillayer_2.PorePressure.BoreholeValues[0].ptop = -10
Note that we also have a Scripting reference that can assist with finding the Python commands that are documented in the Command reference:communities.bentley.com/.../scripting-reference-and-how-to-use-it
