I have been trying to model an existing seawall with basal reinforcement over soft clay. The purpose of the analysis is the calculate the strains occurring in the reinforcement due to the seawall and it's subsequent top up over the years to account for settlement. The model seems to have issues when geotextile is placed directly over the soft clay (which is the actual condition). Could you provide any insights to the issue?

It is difficult to provide an answer just by checking on one screenshot.
I would say that you need to include Updated mesh option for the geogrid to consider the second-order effects, since you would get large deformations (I can see it).
