Deformed mesh vs total displacement

Dear Nitha,

Perhaps some elements (soil or structure) are hidden using the menu on the left in Output. You can try to "activate" the Geometry option and check the results in tabular form (Table).

Thanks for the reply so if the values deviating then we need to check the table and get the maximum value.

By the way in your reply i couldn't understand the 2 terms => "menu on the left in output" and "activate the geometry option".

In the Total displacements plot the maximum displacement is taken from only the soil. In the Deformed mesh plot the maximum total displacement includes the structural elements as well. So apparently in your case the maximum total displacement is in a structural element....
