In PLAXIS 2D, for undrained (B) conditions, there are two parameters that are not specified in the manuals. I have to determine the parameters from just one CPT.
What do the Su,inc and yref represent? And what is their relevance in this model?
Suinc and yref are for specifying a linear increase in strength with depth. You probably don't see them in the manual under Hardening soil because they are common to many of the soil models.
Suinc is the increase in strength per unit length of depth, yref is the depth at which the strength (Su or cohesion) is specified. These are advanced features and not usually used for most analysis.
