I work for COWI where we do have license for PLAXIS3D. When I am opening a file in the shared project folder, it opens up and I can run it. But when I am copying that PLAXIS 3D file along with the associated folder to my local hard drive and trying to run the PLAXIS3D file, it does not show me the model, rather there is water mark of Academic license everywhere in the screen. Why does it happen?
Dear Piyush Mohanty,
It is very strange. The Academic version usually opens when the user opens the ***.p3d project launch file, but without the ***.p3dat folder. Maybe the name of the file and folder do not match? You can also try to run the data.p3d launch file, which is located in the project folder ***.p3dat.
Dear Piyush,
I have noticed that if for some reason the PLAXIS project is corrupted on invalid the program (which is a bug) tries to open it with the Academic watermarks. That is of course not correct, but the issue here is the project itself.
I would make sure that the full project folder and project file is copied correctly and try again. One of the ways to ensure that everything is copied correctly is to pack the project (i.e. compress it) and then copy it locally.
Let me know if that solved it, otherwise, we may need to see what is happening directly.
Did you check again with the issue you encountered?

Dear Piyush Mohanty,I encountered a similar problem, I would like to know whether you were able to solve it and if so how. This is very important because I am currently working on a student resource project https://phdessay.com/free-essays-on/eating-disorders/ with free essay samples about eating disonores. This could ruin my score and I might not make it in time for the deadline.
Just make sure all the files in the project folder is properly copied to the new address. Try switching off/quitting and then switch on/restart the license manager as well.
