The report describes the validation of the Hoek-Brown model as a standard model in the PLAXIS calculation kernel. Since the user-interface was not available at that time, the authors modified the PLAXIS input files to use the Hoek-Brown model with corresponding parameters in the calculation kernel. Conclusions are included.
