SoilTest can be used to simulate real-life soil tests. We demonstrate how to gain better insight in the behaviour of soil models and improve quality of model parameters.

Notes:

• Since PLAXIS 2D 2018 and PLAXIS 3D 2018, the SoilTest application includes two additional modules for the simulation cyclic triaxial tests and cyclic direct simple shear tests (termed as "CycTriaxial" and "CDSS", respectively).
• With the release of PLAXIS 2D CONNECT Edition V20 and PLAXIS 3D CONNECT Edition V20, the SoilTest application now supports a command line and the possibility of remote scripting.
