In this video we will guide you on how to import CPT data to be used for your soil layers, using the Field data option in the borehole.
In this example, the import uses a plain ASCII text file, by first specifying a general file header and the tabulated data from the CPT test. The general file header must include the X, Y and Z coordinates of the starting point of the CPT test. The table starts with a header row and should include columns for the depth, d, the cone tip resistance, q, sleeve friction, f, and pore pressure, u. Make sure the table uses a TAB as separator.
