PLAXIS 2D and PLAXIS 3D are sophisticated applications which can operate using one or more licenses and entitlements that unlock various capabilities.
When PLAXIS 2D or PLAXIS 3D is launched, the application will present a message dialogue that will report which license/entitlements will be used in the session.
If any of the capabilities you require is locked with a license not displayed in the message box or there are licenses/entitlements displayed that will unlock features that are not required, then the licenses that PLAXIS will use can be redefined by selecting those that are required by clicking on the Configure Licences button.
If the License information window does not appear at startup, launch PLAXIS, and start a new project. Then, go to the Help menu and select the option "Licence configuration...".
It is also possible to change the licence configuration without starting PLAXIS, by searching for the term "Licensing Configuration" in Windows Start.
Note that each configuration is related to the installed version(s) of PLAXIS on your computer.
