Problem description

The sensitivity analysis and parameter variation module in PLAXIS 2D 2010/2011 supports almost all available Plaxis constitutive soil material models:

Linear Elastic
Mohr-Coulomb
Jointed Rock
Hardening Soil
Hardening Soil with small strain stiffness (HS small)
Soft Soil
Soft Soil Creep
Modified Cam-Clay

Newly added materials since PLAXIS 2D 2010 are not (yet) supported:

Hoek-Brown
NGI-ADP
Sekiguchi-Ohta (inviscid)
and any User defined soil model

In the first release of PLAXIS 2DAE, this feature was discontinued temporarily.

In PLAXIS 2D 2015 a new version of the Sensitivity analysis and Parameter variation tool has been released. All standard PLAXIS material models are now available in the new version. User defined soil models are not supported.
