Problem description
In PLAXIS 2D 2010, it is not possible to select force envelopes in a standard report, but there are some steps to get the desired plot into your report.
This has been fixed since PLAXIS 2D 2011.00. By activating the Advanced selection in step 5 of the report generator, the envelope option for the forces can be selected.
Solution
In order to get force envelopes in the report in PLAXIS 2D 2010:
- Open a plot of the desired plate
- Select the desired force from the Force menu.
- Now select Force Envelopes, e.g. Bending Moments envelopes by selecting the appropriate button:
- Store this view (that is the button with the eye):
. You can now also give it a destinctive name.
- Then start the report generator
- now you should select this plot in step 6 of the report generator. Stored plots are displayed without the star in front of it
