When a project in PLAXIS 2D2011 and PLAXIS 3D2011 reaches a phase with Phase ID 100 or higher, Plaxis cannot calculate this phase, and reports errors, e.g.
File: [...]Data~1.plxmat does NOT exist
In order to check if your Phase ID is 100 or larger, you can check the ID number. In PLAXIS 2D, this can be seen from the Number/ID next to the phase name, or in the column Phase no.
For PLAXIS 3D, the phase is usually called Phase_100:
Please do not confuse this with the number of steps for the calculation. This is about the phase number.
Currently there is no workaround available for projects that contain more than 100 phases. Plaxis may have a workaround available for the situations where the Phase ID is larger than 100 but the total amount of phases is less than 100 (due to deletion of intermediate phases). Please contact support in that case.
This is fixed PLAXIS 2D 2011.02 and PLAXIS 3D 2012
