Problem description

When using the interpolate option in PLAXIS 2D AE.00 to generate pore pressures in a soil cluster with a non-horizontal top, this interpolate-option does not generate the correct pore pressures in this soil cluster.

Note:

the interpolate option works correctly when the top boundary of the soil cluster is horizontal.
The orientation of the soil cluster’s bottom does not have an influence on this: when the top boundary of the soil cluster is horizontal, the pore pressures generated in 2D AE.00 are correct.

Solution

This issue is now solved in PLAXIS 2D AE.01
