&lt;h2&gt;Problem description&lt;/h2&gt;
 
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When using the interpolate option in &lt;em&gt;PLAXIS 2D AE.00&lt;/em&gt; to generate pore pressures in a soil cluster with a non-horizontal top, this interpolate-option does not generate the correct pore pressures in this soil cluster.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Note:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;the interpolate option works correctly when the top boundary of the soil cluster is horizontal.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;The orientation of the soil cluster’s bottom does not have an influence on this: when the top boundary of the soil cluster is horizontal, the pore pressures generated in 2D AE.00 are correct.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
 
&lt;h2&gt;Solution&lt;/h2&gt;
 
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;This issue is now solved in PLAXIS 2D AE.01&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
