After changing the local axis definition for line elements (e.g. beams, embedded beams) to a Μanual Axis function definition and saving the Plaxis 3D 2016.00 model, this model cannot be loaded again: when loading the model in PLAXIS 3D 2016.00, it will give a bug report.
This issue is now resolved since PLAXIS 3D 2016.01. You can use a manually defined local axis function for line elements (e.g. beams, embedded beams) without problems.
For PLAXIS 3D 2016.00, there is no workaround for the issue with a manual Axis function for line elements. Users are advised not to use a manually defined local axis function for line elements (e.g. beams, embedded beams) in this 3D 2016.00 version, but to update the version to the latest one.
