Improvements to mine tailings management and planning tools for volume calculations using the pseudo-3D consolidation method released in SOILVISION CONNECT Edition V10 Update 2. Efficient analysis of large-strain consolidation 3D scenarios. Feature added to allow placement of tailings deposition points for filling curves at any interior pit location instead of the points being restricted to the pit boundaries.
Enhancements to solve dynamic seismic finite-element models released in SOILVISION CONNECT Edition V10 Update 2. This functionality adds to other standard seismic methods in SVSLOPE like Pseudo-Static Coefficients, Spectral Pseudo-Static, and Newmark. In this release, visualization of model deformations can be displayed relative to the ground. Also, the HHT-alpha time integration method has been added.
Cross-section profile geometry sliced from a conceptual design model in SVDESIGNER can now be sent directly to PLAXIS 2D. This previously required an intermediate step of a transfer to a SOILVISION analysis product (SVSLOPE, SVSOLID, SVFLUX, or SVENVIRO).
Transfer of Multiple Piezometric Surfaces and a Water Surface from SVDESIGNER to SVSLOPE
SVSLOPE analysis allows the specification of a water table and multiple piezometric surfaces be applied to different geologic layers in a single model. SVDESIGNER now allows multiple water objects to be selected and included with a model volume is generated for SVSLOPE.
Flow Vector Results Display Responsiveness
Improved the display responsiveness when visualizing flow vectors in the SOILVISION Results. Improvements will be particularly noticeable when viewing large 3D models.
Specialized Flow Boundary Conditions in Legend
Boundary conditions applied to specialized objects such as Wells, Tunnels, and Rivers in SVFLUX, now display in the boundary conditions legend.
