If a calculation does not run as smoothly as you expected, or it appears that the phase calculation does not convergence, it was sometimes a bit difficult to understand why this is the case. Since the release of PLAXIS 2D/3D CONNECT Edition V21, inspecting these details is now a lot easier using the Calculation Log Collector! You can inspect any phase by just selecting the option from the Phases Explorer or Phases Window:

And if you want to access it while the phase is still calculating, you can now launch it directly from the Calculation Progress Screen:

The Calculation Log Collector will give you all the details on the convergence process, as shown here below:
