    Getting Started with PLAXIS 2D

    This training unit introduces the PLAXIS 2D program and its workflow. Using the example of a deep excavation analysis, we will cover how to set up soil layers, structural elements, generate the mesh, define flow conditions and set up the staged construction. After the calculation, we will have a look at the results.

    Getting Started with PLAXIS Automation

    This training session introduces PLAXIS Automation and its benefits. Understanding the command line and object structure, we will use automation to define geometry, staged construction phases, materials, retrieve calculation results and more. This series also covers some basics of Python 3, using together Input and Output programs, as well as our detailed Scripting documentation.

    Engineering Rock Mechanics with PLAXIS - Standard Course

    The objective of this course is to provide knowledge concerning with the usage of the Finite Element (FE) software code PLAXIS for Engineering Rock Mechanics (ERM)-related problems such as underground openings and slopes where the fundamental object of the design process is aimed at enabling a safe and economic design of each part of these structures.

    ACCELERATE GEOTECHNICAL ANALYSIS: an introduction to PLAXIS 2D (2020)

    This online introduction course to PLAXIS 2D from 2020 aims to give novice users a quick start in using the software. The training course consists of four (4) sessions of approximately three (3) hours each. Sessions one and two mainly focus on the functionality of PLAXIS 2D while sessions three and four focus on one of the most important and also most difficult part of geotechnical analysis: obtaining soil parameters.
