In some cases, when you try to open a project in Monopile Designer after converting it to a newer version, the application may take too long to start, hang or encounter an issue and generate a bug report.
Make sure you have the latest version of Bentley CONNECTION Client and that you are signed in. You can update to the latest version via:
Assuming that the issue occurs when trying to open an older project, then you must follow the steps below:
Another suggestion is to clear the Windows TEMP folder.
Temporary files are files that your operating system only needed to exist temporarily while in use of any application. To delete any left-over temporary files from a previous Monopile Designer session, you can follow the instructions below:
Press the DELETE key, and then click Yes when Window's User Account Control window appears to confirm.
After deleting the temporary files in Windows, click to start PLAXIS Monopile Designer.
