Ground Engineering OpenGround Webinar - 25th October

Ground Engineering and Seequent are presenting a free webinar on the topic of geotechnical data management and cloud technology.

Seequent business development director Roger Chandler and Arup associate Mark Skinner are the main speakers for the webinar on 25 October.

They will discuss how geotechnical data is critical to engineering projects, and that conventional, manual processes for collecting, processing and deriving outputs from geotechnical data can still be clunky and error prone.

Nonetheless, the benefits of cloud-connected geotechnical data management often remain unclear when compared with legacy desktop-based approaches.

Chandler and Skinner will describe what “better geotechnical data” could mean for the industry and what role cloud technology can play in site investigation processes.

The webinar will also present five areas where companies have achieved measurable benefits by enabling cloud-connected workflows across key aspects of geotechnical data management.

Each area will be illustrated with real-life stories from the users who have migrated to the cloud from desktop applications like gINT and HoleBASE.
