  • If gINT does not start when you click on the start icon or .exe

    gINT has had the reproducible issue above when running on some Windows 10 versions. Often, the splash screen appears and then gINT closes. It does not proceed to the product.

    We believe it is caused by specific versions of Windows 10 and an update from April 2019. We are currently working with Microsoft for a resolution to this issue.

    Workaround:

    The current workaround is to run gINT in compatibility mode.

  • Database Engine Changes to gINT CONNECT version 10.01

    The database engine used in gINT was changed in Version 10.1. This change will apply to future releases of gINT. Previous versions of gINT use the JET Database Engine (DAO360.dll), version 10.01 uses the Access Database Engine (ACEDAO.dll). Both technologies support Database Access Objects (DAO).

  • An update for gINT Users affected by the January 8 Microsoft patch

    Dear gINT Users, 

    It has been awhile since my last post updating you. 

    As I have stated, Bentley has been working closely with Microsoft on this issue. That has not changed. 

    Since our my last post, the root cause has been identified,  a proper fix implemented, and initial testing have proved successful. 

    Bentley and Microsoft will continue to test this fix, and a fix should be available shortly.
