Script and run-time errors problem has been resolved

A change in the gINT home page caused many gINT users to get script and run-time errors on opening gINT. These errors prevented gINT from running. This problem has been resolved.  When gINT opens, the browser will now go to http://communities.bentley.com/.  If you still see errors please clear the cache and cookies in Internet Explorer.  If, for some reason, you still have a problem please get in touch with me, kathleen.holcombATbentley.com.

To prevent this problem in the future, we are recommending that you check the box "Hide web browser".

The next version will not have a web browser.

  • Was battling this today, is there a specific version of gINT that is needed? I had a hard time selecting 'Hide web browser' and having it remember the setting. Is there a registry entry or similar that can be used to enable this check box. I'm an IT staff member with a bunch of gINT installs and wondering if we can roll this change out across the installs?
  • Hello Bruce,
No specific version of gINT is needed. From what you describe it sounds as if you are still seeing the errors. Please clear the cache and cookies in Internet Explorer. Once you do that, gINT should open to the new home page and when you check 'Hide web browser' it will stay checked. If that doesn't fix it please contact me: kathleen.holcombATbentley.com.
