So I'm trying to represent different borehole types with a different symbol cells. There are 2800 boreholes in total.. I believe I'm doing everything correctly but all the boreholes are being plotted by the "Default" point type. Even though the Property and the value is specified in the symbology tab. Is there something I am missing?
I've attached the data connectivity and the borehole properties.
The symbol should change the for the "type of activity". Ie. "CP+RC".
Hi Chris,
Send me an e-mail and I can contact you. We may need your files and some other information to troubleshoot. kirk.johnson@Bentley.com
No still doesn't work. I have tried:
- Starts with
- Contains
- Equals CP
- Equals 'CP'
- Changing the cell to a cell that is delivered with ORD
- Plotting via the "Property" instead of default
But still plots all boreholes to the default point cell
I do however, get this warning when query all. Do you think the number of boreholes is an issue? It seems to process the points ok after about 60 seconds, but the cell doesn't plot to different symbols.
I tried an advance query to reduce the sample size but still doesn't work.
Please try the "Starts With" Comparator (instead of Equals) since the value is a string, that might explain why the symbology isn't considered.
Let me know if it fixes the problem,
Marie
