Sometimes, intentionally or unintentionally, the PLAXIS 2D and PLAXIS 3D calculation will not reach the prescribed situation and shows a non-converged solution. A red cross in your phases list indicates such a failed calculation. But, is it a failed calculation and what does this mean?

During this Geotechnical Analysis Special Interest Group virtual workshop, we will show you what tools are available to determine the cause and/or the geotechnical consequence. Topics include how to:

  • Read the feedback information for failed calculations
  • Overcome certain calculation error and warning codes
  • Read and understand results when the calculation does not converge

This one-hour session includes a technical presentation as well as time to share questions.
