SIG Workshop: Geotechnical Information - OpenGround Cloud Mapping Tools

This Geotechnical Information Special Interest Group virtual workshop dives into the OpenGround Cloud mapping tools that can make your desktop survey truly a desktop affair! When looking at the area for a proposed project with OpenGround Cloud, any existing projects in your area are visible and can be demarked by project type-specific icons.

During this one-hour session, you will learn how to map to available WMS data and access existing geology, mining, borehole, or other government archives. Topics include how to:

• Create (and use) Dot plots
• Add WMS links to enhance your desktop survey
• Use Saved Searches with the mapping tools
