Change Request: Layers Display in the Preview Window

Our Fence Report utilizes several “layers”. One for the fence post frame, a separate one for the lithology layers, a different layer for the text, etc.

Would Bentley consider adding functionality to the “preview” window to allow for the display of the various layers to be toggled on and off in that window?

This would be helpful for reviewing and checking the data before final export.

Thanks for your suggestion. I can submit this to development as a possible program enhancement.

As a workaround from the preview screen you can hit the edit file button and create a temporary drawing file to quickly view the info. This drawing file will show your layer information. You can export from the drawing file or you can go back to output and export from there. There are more export options from output, but the drawing file will allow you to quickly review the layer information.

I'd like to second that. Very useful when working with Site Maps with "extra" info on them etc.
