disappearing logo

When you say won't show the company logo, do you mean on screen or in print outs / pdf output or both?

Logo is not seen on the screen in print preview, in print outs or in PDFs on these computers only

My only idea is... Are the logos bitmaps? If they are, go into your report design and check that the logo isn't placed on the report using the IN PLACE BITMAP SYMBOL from the DRAW - GRAPHICS menu instead of the more usual BITMAP SYMBOL. The in place bitmap symbol loads a file from your hard drive, NOT from gINTs internal store of bitmaps in the Library file where it takes the bitmap symbols from. My thinking is, that if the logs use the in place bitmap symbol, the bitmap may be present on 3 of the PC hard drives, but not on the other 2 and will therefore only show on those 3.
Either go to SYMBOL DESIGN - Bitmap Symbols and import the logo, and then replace the in place version of the logo for the imported one or look to see on one of the 3 pcs, where the logo is stored on their HDs and copy it from there, and paste it to the same place on the other 2. Obviously, this will only work if the above is the reason for the missing logos.

I should point out that our gINT files are located on a shared drive. So all 5 computers use the exact same libraries (not copies of the same libraries).

Although I did setup the logo correctly originally, I did save a BMP of the logo to our shared library folder and replaced the logo in each library. This did not solve the problem.

Previously the BMP was stored on my personal drive along with all of our template backups.

I have noticed that the 2 computers in question also get 'error number 527' popping up when they go to print previous any logs.

We tried reinstalling and this didn't change anything.

The BMP of the logo was and is done correctly.

This issue is now happening to another computer (including the Error Number 527).

Finally figured out what was causing the Error 527 and disappearing logo.

Error 527 occurs when the System Properties/File Location Default/Temporary Files is changed. If I change the default path for the temporary files, Error 527 occurs. If I change it back to the original path, the error disappears. On the computers that have had gINT for a while, we never changed this path therefore never had an issue. Not sure why I decided we needed to on the new installs, but we can definitely use the original default.

I had moved it to a shared drive. There may not be an issue moving the temp files to another folder in the c:\

Changing any other ‘file location default’ has no effect.
