In our gINT template, we have data tables provided to us from gINT, for data for unconfined strength tests. Some of the tables for the various tests are set-up for the specimen dimensions to be in inches and some are set-up for the specimen dimensions to be in millimeters. We would like for the specimen dimensions to be in inches for all of the tests.
I tried changing the units for the dimension data fields in the field properties tab from mm to inches but,
gINT is still performing the calculations as if the dimensions are in mm's.
Is there something else I need to do to get gINT to recognize the change in units?

Hello Brian,
The dimensions on Input fields are only labels. Changing them changes nothing in how gINT calculates. (We get this question quite a bit.) Those are system fields. You cannot change how they calculate.
Do you know any programming? If so, you can add new fields for inputting those fields in inches and write a gINT Rule to do the calculations. On http://communities.bentley.com/products/geotechnical1/w/wiki/3951.gint-rules-samples, gr002 does something similar in the WC Density table. You could probably use that to start with.
