gINT-COLOR PRINTING

Hello,

I am using gINT v8i SS2.

I need to print pdf output of my corelogs and borelogs.  However, they are printing in color.  The dot wants the output in black and white.  How do I control the color/black white settings in gINT?

  • It depends on what type of color items you have put in report design. If for example you have used entity properties to color various entities on the report. Goto File…system properties…output tab and under printer color options choose “use only black”

Keep in mind if you are using background color fill then pattern won’t show or will be very dark.

If the color is the property of an image or bitmap that you have put on the report (like a logo) the system property will only work on places where color is set on the entitiy. So without a black and whit logo it will still be in color.

To guarantee 100% you would need to have a report designed completely without colors. In other words all color properties of the report were set to black and any images or other items imported in black and white.

Try the system property setting first..That may be enough depending on how you have designed your report.
