When trying to upsize I get a timeout error around 30 seconds. I think that is the default in AZURE. I am not sure where to adjust if that is what it is. "Unable to open 'Table' ODBC - Call Failed" I am curious if there has been success or any research done on the use of gINT on cloud storage.

Hello tmckenney, The word from Development is that they are working on certifying Azure for use with gINT. Sorry, we don't have a time frame for this. We'll post an announcement in the Forum when it is ready.

Hi Phil,
Over the past year we have dug in and really started to make ground on this topic. We were in a DC hosted by a data provider and that was working but wanted to move to Cloud. Just in the past few weeks we have moved all US operations to an AZURE VM environment. The only slowness we are seeing is an internal coding that Bentley is working on for output. The real rick is to have all items on the same VM, ie libraries, SQL, gINT installation.

Near future plans are to get the international offices moved over.

I tried using Azure SQL with gINT v10, still fails with OCBC error messages.

But you can of course make an Azure VM hosting an SQL Server and open that to the internet, and that works. It is not fast to access even with the Azure data centre only <20 km from my home and I have a theoretical 1 Gbps fibre connection. It takes about 9 sec to change between tables in INPUT. These speeds are what I would have expected based on my experience with on premise setups. So if you want to use Azure and get better speeds, I think the best option is to have a RDPs server in Azure with gINT installed, I'll try that next.
