Hi,
I am new to gINT and trying to modify/edit the output display of borehole logs generated by gINT to better suit our company needs. My question relates to Report Deisgn > Logs menu of gINT software. I am trying to modify a log report captioned as "Geotech BH Columns". In this, a dashed line displays the border of my output page. Outside this dashed outline of page border block names in different colors are written. For example, I have two blocks named as "INT LOGO AND TITLE ALL" and "INT PAGE 1 HEADER PAGE 1" displayed. Now I understand that I can modify the basic properties of the block by double clicking on the block name and playing around with the properties. However, if I try to modify the contents of each block, I am unable to do so, i.e. I can not select any of the items of these blocks for editing.
For instance, "INT PAGE 1 HEADER PAGE 1" block shows three water table values, i.e. WT at the time of boring, WT at the end, and WT after 24 hrs. I want to delete two of those and show only WT after 24 hrs. How do I delete it?
Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated. If someone can share any tutorial video or help file related to modifying the report design, it would be a great help.
Irfan
Hi Richard,
A private block is on the report itself therefore the entities are edited direct in the report
A private block is a part of the report it’s inside of. This is unlike a drawing library or internal block, which is a library object that exists outside the report, and is included into it by reference. Private blocks are no more than a grouping mechanism for entities in the report. However, they are very useful for displaying or suppressing a group of entities together, as well as for moving a group of entities a specified distance in response to a specified condition.

Hi Irfan,
To modify the blocks, you will have to go the Blocks menu on the menu bar and the select Edit Log blocks.
Then you select the PAGE 1 HEADER from the yellow selector. Once you get here, you will be able to edit the information on this block.
Select the entity that you want to edit by double clicking the entity and either delete it through the Delete key on your keyboard or click on Erase command that will come at the bottom once you select the entity.
